Nutrition
Is what you eat making you ill?
Did you know that YOU can change Your health and Your life.....
just by altering what you eat? |
 |
Do you suffer from lack of energy, poor concentration/memory, bloating,
flatulence, dry skin, indigestion, PMS, hormone imbalance, anxiety,
depression, hypertension, stress, arthritis, unexplained hunger/sugar
cravings, weight problems etc.....?
Nutritional therapy is about:
- Helping you to target the various causative factors to your
lack of well being
- Helping you to eliminate them
- Helping you to heal and restore energy and good health
- Helping you to find out how the wrong food for your metabolic
type or "empty calories" foods can affect your body's
basic functions, causing common symptoms like tiredness, indigestion,
weight problems etc.
Nutrition is a science far too often overlooked. What we eat is
after all what keeps us alive!
Under the guidance of a registered nutritional therapist, you too
can learn how to use the right food and nutrients as a form of natural
preventive medicine – your body was designed to heal itself,
let me help you to get back to that stage!
What is involved:
First Consultation:
- After completing the ION questionnaire and returning it prior
to consultation, we meet for a minimum of one hour to discuss
your symptoms and work out together a strategy to correct any
imbalances
- A written report and guidelines are given regarding your nutritional
status and diet
- This may involve excluding some foods and some biochemical
tests to diagnose a suspected imbalance may be considered with
your approval
- Natural supplements are usually recommended
Follow Up Consultations:
- 30 to 40 minutes or more if necessary when test results are
given
- The outcome of the first stage is analysed and the programme
is adjusted accordingly so that a long term strategy to maintain
optimum health can be kept.
