Magnetic Field Therapy
What is Magnetic Field?
 |
Magnetic field is an invisible energy emitted
by a magnet. The earth's magnetic field is aligned with the
North and South poles and has reversed many times during geologic
history. Whales use the magnetic field of the earth for navigation
purposes. Other animals such as ants, termites, bees, migratory
birds find their direction by using the earth's magnetic field.
Human beings, like all living organisms, are influenced by
the earth's magnetic field. |
| |
|
 |
Besides the earth's magnetism, magnetic fields
can also be generated by solar storms and changes in the weather,
by everyday electrical/electronic machines and of course by
the human body which emanates subtle magnetic fields produced
by the chemical reactions in the cells and the nerve impulses
of the nervous system |
What is Magnetic Field Therapy?
 |
Magnetic Field
Therapy refers to the therapeutic use of static or pulsed
magnetic fields for the purpose of treating health disorders. |
| |
|
 |
Magnetic fields were first used
more than 3,500 years ago. The Chinese, the Greeks and the
Egyptians all knew the significance of earth's magnetic field,
and since 1982 scientific and clinical studies on the subject
are conducted worldwide. |
How does it work?
 |
It works at cellular level. This is a very
complex process but in simplified terms, cells produce energy
from sugar, protein and fat with the help of oxygen. A functional
cell will use this oxygen to supply enough energy for operating
an exchange of nutrients (coming in) and wastes (coming out).
This exchange requires an electric potential to function properly.
A sick cell has a reduced potential i.e. it no longer receive
enough oxygen to supply enough energy to operate effectively.
|
| |
|
 |
Magnetic Field Therapy improves
the utilization of oxygen and nutrients in the cells, and
the the excretion of unwanted wastes. This renovated exchange
will in turn: |
- Revitalize tired cells
- Generally improve oxygen utilization and circulation
- Increase immune activity
- Stimulate metabolism
- Stabilize the autonomic nervous system
Applications
- To strengthen the immune system
- To support wound healing, injury and more rapid regeneration
- To improve circulation and water retention
- For prevention and relaxation
- For sleep disorders and stress
- For migraines, sinus problems and more
